Fa-la-la-la-laaaaaaaaaa!!
Christmas 2011
The 2011 Fine Arts League Christmas Party was attended by some 17 members and guests. The food was spectacular as usual. The party room at the Coleman InterBank was decorated with a Christmas Tree where gifts to be exchanged were placed. Under the capable hands of Robin Black, the tables were covered with red cloths and small ornaments decorated each one.

Officers for the new term of 2012 were installed by out-going President, Sherrell Hazlewood. Each officer was presented with a printed symbol and clever quote for the office.
New President, Bill Shields, was presented with the gavel and the bell passed down from former League presidents.
The Officers for the coming year are:
President Bill Shields
Vice-President Lois McCarty
Secretary Bitsy Murchison
Treasurer Sue Shields
Telephone Sharon Dick
Parliamentarian Bob Murchison
Publicity Marian Johnson/Linda Wright
Past President Sherrell Hazlewood

After the Officer installation, Christmas carols were sung, led by
Bill Shields and accompanied by Sue Shields on the keyboard. The Gifts exchange job this year was delegated to Bitsy Murchison who was "in charge" as was the case when our Dollie was chair of the fun Chinese Gift Exchange. Non-perishable food items were collected to be delivered by the Murchisons to the Loaves and Fishes project. In addition to those mentioned above who were in attendance:
Tammy Jo and Arena Turner, Missy Adian, Raye King,
Pat & Benton Cassaday, Theda Rhea,
Robin Black and her mother, Mrs. Cathey, nephew, Austin Cathey, B.B. Nunley, and Linda Wright.
The evening was crowned for the season by Bill Shields singing "O Holy Night".
