2011 Fiesta de la Paloma Annual Arts Show by Members of the
Fine Arts League of Coleman County

This popular show was open only to all FALCC Members who have paid their $20.00 annual membership dues. Three pieces of any media were allowed from each member. Exciting prizes were awarded for Best of Show, 1st-3rd places, three Honorable Mentions, and a Peoples Choice Award.

The Show exhibited Wednesday, September 28, through Saturday, October 1, 9:00-4:00, in the Tillman community Room
of the Coleman Public Library
402 Commercial Avenue.

The show was directed by Fiesta Show Chairman Bill Shields

Fine Arts League members created 23 medallions as show awards that were then juried by master potter, Jane Padgitt who slelcted the 8 medallions awarded.

The Millie Martin Memorial Award, a cash prize of $250, was awarded for best of show Other prizes awarded were 1st, 2nd, 3rd place,  three honorable mentions and a people’s choice. The 2011 Fiesta Membership Show Judge was Dr. Robin Clark of Mason, TX.

The 2011 FALCC Fiesta de la Paloma Art Show in the Tillman Comunity Room of the Coleman Public Library was attended by some 200 visitors who signed the guest book. Many others who viewed the show were not listed in the guest book. Visitors included were art aficionados, art patrons, artists, students, tourists, and the general public.
