Fine Arts LFine Arts League of Coleman County, Inc. members, Kay Mitchell and Kathy Andrews, along with the staff at Heritage Hall will be presenting a mini Workshop.
November 6 - San Angelo artist, Mary Kollmyer, will present a program in collage creation of "Roosters!!" at Heritage Hall. See details below:
Saturday, November 6th is the date!
Mary Kollmyer, from San Angelo, is the artist who will be teaching the class.
Place is Heritage Hall, 400 College, Coleman, TX.
Time is 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Attendees will be making a rooster, 16x20" or smaller, choice of the artist, on water color paper, poster paper, or whatever you choose to bring.
The rooster's head and feet will be drawn, or traced, and painted. The body will be made from pictures in magazines. Please tear out pictures in the colors of your choice to be used for the body.
Supply List: scissors, paper of your choice - i.e.. w/c paper, poster paper, etc. (16" x 20") or smaller magazines or pictures already torn out - pick colors that you like
Your sense of adventure and humor - it will be a lot of fun!
Glue will be provided. Rooster pictures will be available if you want to trace them onto your paper. If not, you might want to draw your rooster before the class.
Plan to go out for lunch or bring your lunch.
Cost: $30.00 per person.
