The Fine Arts League of Coleman

County

The Fine Arts League of Coleman County is saddened by the loss of our loyal and long serving member, Millie Martin. Millie ended her long and courageous battle with cancer Wednesday, April 28, 2009. Millie will be missed by all of us.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Millie Martin requested that donations be made to the Fine Arts League of Coleman County, P.O. Box 376, Coleman, TX 76834 for the purpose of creating a Millie Martin Patron's Award that began with the 2009 FALCC Annual Fiesta Juried Art Show.

The Library Project of Art Creations
by the Fine Arts League members is complete. Walls were decorated by FALCC members for the children who come to enjoy the Library and its many wonderful young-people oriented programs. Millie Martin was a key member of this group of artists. Much of the mural including the image of the original Coleman Court House was done by Millie.
