Why Do We Do This ??
Fine Arts League of Coleman County, Inc.
by Marian Johnson

The Fine Arts League of Coleman membership produced its 21st Art Show/Sale from Wednesday afternoon (Sept 28) through Fiesta Saturday Oct 1, 2011 at the Coleman Public Library.
It takes months of planning and organizing to get the show to this point. Many hours are spent by the members. Everyone is involved in some way at some time, some where.
Under the direction of the capable show chairman, Bill Shields and his wife Sue Shields, the 21st show was an outstanding success. As of noon Saturday, there were 70 pieces of artwork registered. Some out of town members shipped their paintings, some were delivered by friends and some came in person to enter their work in the “Fiesta 2011 Membership Show” in Coleman, Texas!. The variety of the work shows creativity at every level - all “candy for the eyes”.
The Fine Arts League has patron/associate members who do not paint, sculpt, or photograph but support the effort with their time, energy and encouragement.

Join the Fine Arts League and support the Arts in Coleman County by sending your name, address, tel. no., email to PO Box 376 Coleman, Tx. It will be well worth the $20 annual membership fee.
