Youth Art Show 2010

The 2nd Annual Youth Art Show sponsored by the Fine Arts League of Coleman County was presented Feb.2-4 at the Coleman Public Library The Exhibit contained 81 pieces of artwork with 7 sculptures and represented all media. Entries were from K-12th grades. 49 entries were from K-7 and 32 entries from 8-12grades.

Special Art Supplies (with funds from the Coleman Foundation Grant and Blick Art Materials) were ordered for prizes for these hardworking artists and were awarded Thursday, Feb. 4th, at 4 pm at the Library. The Rumor that the Texas Blue Bunny would make an appearance was true. Prizes included Best of Show, 1st & 2nd places for grades K-7 and 1st & 2nd places for grades 8-12 with 1st & 2nd places for Sculpture.
