Millie Martin, President 2007-2008

FALCC President Millie Martin with the mural that she
and FALCC members created for the Coleman Pubic Library
for this Sesquicentennial Year of Coleman County, Texas.
The mural represents the history of Coleman County.
Kathy Andrews was Chairperson of the mural project.
Other FALCC members who participated in the project were Virginia Bethke, Sherrell Hazlewood, Marian Johnson, Kay Mitchell, Bob Murchinson, Ted Shelton, Bill Shields, and Ginger Test.

Prints of the Coleman county Sesquicentennal Mural can be purchased from The Coleman Public Library.

Organized in 1992, the Fine Arts League of Coleman County, Inc. held its first annual art show in its organizational year, leading to the upcoming Seventeenth Annual FALCC Fiesta Art Show, October 3-4, 2008. The Fine Arts League of Coleman County has also just completed its Second Annual Juried Art Show, Dragonfly Journeys, May 7-11, 2008. The League includes artists with expertise in oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, ceramics, china painting, sculpture, poetry, teaching, photography, stained glass, & murals.
Many FALCC artist members give their time and talent to the furtherance of art participation and art education to both adults and youth of Coleman County, Texas.
