FALCC Member Adam Sparkman
"Man enough to wear Pink"

Adam Sparkman, grandson of our Dollie Sparkman, is making his mark with the very special artwork he creates. Adam’s work was admitted into the Coleman FALCC Juried Art Show juried by Colorado artist Tom Lockhart , May, 2008.
Adam's special treatment of the colors and subjects in his paintings is something to behold. The viewer gets the feeling that his art comes from the heart.
Adam is the son of Bill & Nellie Sparkman and is an employee
of Kroger Grocery in College Station .
When the management saw his painting of "My Ladies and the Rose", and read his accompanying story, they invited him to present prints of his work to the public
for donations to the Breast Cancer campaign.
Each weekend in October, Adam set up his station at the store and presented his art to the public. Every weekend in October he sold over $100.00 worth of prints of his paintings for at least $10.00 each, and whatever else buyers wanted to donate. All his sales proceeds went to benefit the Breast Cancer Research foundation.
Adam, of course, is very proud of it and glad to help the fund.
We are also proud of this young man. His compassion to those who are ill is inspiring to us all. Keep up the good work, Adam.
