DID SOMEONE SAY “CHANGE?”

The word “change” seems to be the buzz word these days. The
Fine Arts League is going to bring you ‘change’ that will enrich and inspire you with Fine Art in October, 2009.
The Fiesta de la Paloma Fine Art Show is 18 years old this year. It’s “all grown up” now. The Fiesta Art Show will happen again (good Lord willing), as it has for the past 17 years, this year on the 2nd & 3rd of October, 2009 during the Chamber of Commerce Fiesta de la Paloma celebrating the dove hunting season in Coleman County.
The ‘Change’ word for 2009 will be J U R I E D!!! FIESTA JURIED FINE ART SHOW. Coleman has experienced the excitement in 2007 and 2008 with a juried show, prestigious judges with impressive credentials to “Jury” the artwork that was to be exhibited in the “Flight of the Dragonflies” May, 2007 (Ann Templeton, New Mexico) and “Dragonfly Journeys” in May 2008.(Tom Lockhart, Colorado).
Now, a new chapter will be added to the Scrapbook of Memories for 2009 - New faces, new ideas and certainly new enthusiasm. The Fine Arts League 32 plus-member strong and growing, invites anyone who would like to be a part of the adventure for 2009 to talk to a FALCC Member, especially Fiesta Juried Show Co-chairs Sherrell Hazlewood . Marian Johnson, & Theda Rhea .
Any and all talents are welcome and encouraged to join in the Coleman County effort to “make its mark with art”. Watch for news about the Fiesta Juried Fine Art Show 2009 as future plans are developed. The Fine Arts League solicits your Support again!!
