BIO

Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Robin E. Clark recently returned home after serving 15+ years as a university professor in three other states (PA, MI, ND). Robin holds a PhD in Fine Arts and a Masters degree in Art Education from Texas Tech University. Despite having been tenured separately by two universities, Robin decided in 2005 to leave her career in higher education to more actively and intensely pursue her personal artwork Although extensively trained in a varietyof art forms, photography and digital imaging are currently her preferred media, using computerized means to manipulate her photographic imagery.  Robin is a former president of the Seminar for Research
in Art Education, an international affiliate of the National Art Education Association, and serves as a curriculum consultant and member of the advisory board for the International Child Art Foundation based in Washington, D.C.  She is author of many publications in the fields of art and education, has juried numerous art exhibits, and maintains an active exhibition record of her own artwork. In addition, Robin
has made presentations both nationally and internationally, as well as conducted a variety of art and educational workshops at state, regional, and local levels.  Before entering higher education, she taught art, foreign language, and other content areas in the public schools of Texas and Michigan. Robin currently makes her home and studio in the beautiful hill country town of Mason, TX.
