Artists Celebrate Christmas
in The Country

Each ChrisEach Christmas, there is excitement in the country when
Ginger & Terry Test host the Christmas Luncheon for artists and
friends. This year it was attended by some 50 friends who have
taken art from or with Ginger over the years and the attendance
keeps growing. Old friends and new acquaintances are present and
you can bet they're all discussing some form of art or events to
happen or that have happened. Just an impromptu observance
reveals visitors from Abilene, San Angelo, Ballinger, Tuscola,
Novice, Brownwood, Santa Anna, Burkett, Lake Coleman,
Glen Cove, Carbon and Coleman. Fine Arts League of Coleman
members attending were Linda Hobbs, Kay Mitchell,
Bitsy and Bob Murchison, Kathy Andrews, Pat Morris,
Bill and Sue Shields, and Marian Johnson. The lunch tables
were laden with a special dish from each one present.
The home was decorated for Christmas and filled with
Ginger's artwork and her collections of other artists' work.
The birds are feeding from the many feeders observed from
the windows. The oak trees are ablaze with color in the
sun - inspirations for painting! The spirit of the occasion
is always one of love and friendship. What else is better at
this time of year? Thanks, Ginger and Terry for this treat
at Christmas time.
