Dr. Robin E. Clark
After serving 15+ years as a university professor in three different states (PA, MI, ND), Dr. Robin Clark returned home to her native Texas in 2005. Although she had been tenured by two different universities and had achieved the rank of Full Professor, she chose to leave her career in higher education to more actively and intensely pursue her artistic interests. Dr. Clark has extensive training in a variety of art forms; however, photography and digital imaging are currently her primary production media.
Dr. Clark’s Ph.D. is in Fine Arts, awarded by Texas Tech University in 1991. Her professional achievements include (but are not limited to) having served as president of the Seminar for Research in Art Education, an international affiliate of the National Art Education Association, and as a curriculum consultant and member of the advisory board for the International Child Art Foundation based in Washington, D.C.
She has also authored many publications in the fields of art and education; juried and judged numerous art exhibits; and continues to maintain an active exhibition record of her personal artwork. In addition, Dr. Clark has made presentations both nationally and internationally, as well as conducted a variety of art and educational workshops at state, regional, and local levels. Before entering the field of higher education she taught art, foreign language, and other content areas in the public schools of Texas and Michigan.
Dr. Clark currently lives and works in the beautiful hill country town of Mason, Texas.
