The Fine Arts League of Coleman County will miss Jim in more ways than one. He was always ready to help and contribute to the Art League projects. Jim was the Purchase Award Patron in 2007, buying a painting by Barbara Larimore, Olney, Texas.

Over the years he purchased artwork and also inspired his granddaughter, Bailee Stokes, to use her talents. Bailee won the "Best of Junior High" award in the Youth Art Show 2008. (shown w/Jim) She plans to enter "the big" show when she is 18!! We shall be watching as I am sure Jim will also.
